About RED.RB
I run this storefront as my personal outlet to sell any work I produce, either as a bi-product of my films, or through wanting to experiment with new mediums. Because of this, and because my college schedule only allows me to be in my studio for 3 months of the year, the stock I sell on-site is subject to change frequently, and most handmade items come on a rolling, unscheduled basis.
I founded, and run R.B to support my own animated films and visual works, with the overarching goal to convert R.B into an animation studio in the near future. Any and all profits made through sales on my store, go straight back into improving existing products, supporting my projects, or supporting my tuition fees.
About me
Hello!
My name is Sofia Johansson, I’m currently enrolling in Calarts’ character animation program, class of 29′. I’m based out of Sydney, Australia, and specialise in visual development for environments and character design.
On a broader note, I like to take a holistic approach to the production pipeline, and predominately work to direct my own indie animation films, under RED.RB.
Beyond film making, I love the process of making things, and lean into a number of mediums when I’m not explicitly working on films, such as clays, resins, gouache, watercolour and textiles, which I use as secondary creative outlets to film making.
